Nancy Barber
Nancy was first introduced to rug hooking at a mini-workshop at the Heritage Arts Guild in Lively. She took to it immediately. She scoured for woolen fabric at thrift stores, rummage sales, and closets. Nancy tends to work in bright colours and a wide cut, usually #8. She has been a member of Rugs on the Rocks forever and will continue to attend. The members of our group share ideas and friendship. Nancy has run out of space in her home for most of her work, but she still hooked on creating pieces.
